Guess what?
Big discovery today!
I’ve found the best place to study in McGill—the fourth floor in McLennan Library!
McLennan Library is my second home--I study there and also work as a student navigator there
Sitting at the information desk, discharging, sorting or shelving books
Three shifts every week, four hours every shift, and plus the study time
I stay there at least 20 hours every week.
I usually take the staff elevator which is hidden at the very end of the building to second, third, fifth or sixth floor. No fourth floor because it was empty as I knew. All the shelves were empty and few people go there.
But today, when I took my break during my shift, I climbed the stairs to get down.
I’m used to looking down at my toes when walking, but things hadn’t gone according to plan this time, as I looked up and found a brand new fourth floor!!!
It is awesome!!
They‘ve changed it into rare books collection! Neat, quite and full of fragrance of books.
How come I didn’t notice it! Oh, my lovely second home!
Fine, fine, fine. It’s never too late to know.
Aha, now I have one more place to go when midterms come around.
